Schools science competition launch for 2017

The project founder and manager Jane Priston was delighted to be at Discovery Park, Sandwich, Kent for the launch of the next KM Bright Sparks school science competition last week. Jane is the first KM Bright Sparks ambassador and invited the 2016 winners, Tonbridge grammar school, to the unveiling of the Amy Johnson bronze statue in September. The girls were thrilled to meet HRH Prince Michael of Kent and engineers and pilots and were so inspired by the day they are all committed to a career in STEM. So let’s get sharing for next years competition. Selective and non selective schools and primary too. The next generation may be young but their minds are full of fantastic ideas! Science students to take on dragons.
